Lab member Liyue Zhang wins the Jeanne X. Kasperson Award from the AAG Hazards, Risks and Disasters Specialty Group

Lab member Liyue Zhang wins the Jeanne X. Kasperson Award, which is a student paper competition award, from the AAG Hazards, Risks and Disasters Specialty Group (HRDSG). Liyue will receive a registration reimbursement for the 2026 AAG Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California, where she will present her paper in a special award session. The mission of the AAG HRDSG is to promote research, education, and the application of knowledge about natural, technological, and social hazards; to strengthen communication and collaborative activities among geographers pertaining to hazards; to encourage communication between geographers and the members of other disciplines and professions that share an interest in hazards.
